"We didn’t have the in-house resources, so we hired BusyMachines as an external partner. They managed the project effectively—we always felt understood and communicated with. They’ve met all deadlines and give us exemplary communication; language and time differences were not issues."

The vision of Ignite

The IGNITE application's objective is to help healthcare professionals diagnose genetic Frontotemporal Dementia from its early stages. The main app demographic is represented both by people who have developed symptoms and people who are at risk of developing symptoms in the future because they carry an abnormal genetic mutation.

The app includes tests specifically developed to speed up dementia diagnosis and understand the disease's development from early stages. The key objective of GENFI is to develop markers that help identify the disease and track its progression. These markers will be used in future clinical trials of drugs in genetic FTD.

The work of BusyMachines

For the Proof of Concept (PoC) phase, BusyMachines built an iPad mobile application with 30+ visual puzzles & games. The app also works offline.
