Delivery timeline

  • MVPDuration: 6 months

    Service: Dedicated Software Teams

BusyMachines built a health measurement tool as a mobile app for a healthcare software company. Based on some given initial screens, BusyMachines designed the app and developed it to scale as needed.

  • Post MVPDuration: 40+ months

    Service: Dedicated Software Teams

BusyMachines provided continuous software development with a dedicated agile team. The objective was to add new features and to enhance user experience by improving the main flows of the application and refining the design.

  • Maintenance

    Service: BusyCare

Software maintenance & support delivered as part of the “Post MVP” development effort.

The vision of Château Santé

Château Santé provides simple and intuitive means to measure health by designing smart and efficient solutions. Their approach facilitates the entire process of choosing which factors to measure, collecting the actual data, analyzing it, and processing the results, all the way to the final reporting.

The measurement system is interesting from a scientific perspective due to more valid and precise measures, and it also has social relevance. The way the PROM* is presented to people (both patients and non-patients) and the way people have to respond to the judgemental tasks of the ePROM** amount to a major improvement in the field. It is far more attractive and gives respondents much more freedom, thereby motivating people to assess their own health condition.

*Patient-reported outcome measure.

**PROM where the collecting of the responses is done by electronic software.

The work of BusyMachines

BusyMachines designed and implemented an application that allows researchers to create and conduct personalised studies and surveys in an efficient manner.

  • The platform has two main components called HealthFan and HealthSnApp. HealthFan is a tool for identifying users’ perception regarding the importance of various health aspects, whereas HealthSnApp is used for measuring end users’ health status.

The application also has a back office part called console, which is used by researchers for personalising and managing ePROMs, along with running the studies and downloading the results.

The first step in conducting a study is creating a template,

  • called instrument in case of HealthSnApp and Diagram in case of HealthFan. This template is fully customizable and can be translated into various languages. Next, the instrument/diagram is used for creating one or multiple studies which are then sent to the end users. The recipients are given unique randomly generated usernames and passwords for logging in to the app in order to provide the required answers. No personally identifiable information is stored in the database, just the generated usernames which cannot be utilised to identify a particular person. The stored data is available for download and analysis.
